Recently, GRAEFF's GPY Series Pressure Transmitter has won the Silver Award of the 6th ICAD International Contemporary Youth Art Design Competition for its outstanding industrial design, gaining professional recognition in the international design arena. About ICAD

ICAD International Contemporary Youth Art Design Competition is co-hosted by the International Youth Art Design Association, Asia-Pacific Youth Art Design Research Institute and the Organizing Committee of ICAD International Contemporary Youth Art Design Competition. It is an international design competition open for global submissions, including regions of China’s Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan as well as other countries and regions.

The competition covers diverse categories such as visual design, environmental landscape, industrial products, arts and crafts. Its jury panel consists of international designers and industry specialists. It calls for design works worldwide that combine aesthetic creativity and practical application value. The competition aims to discover outstanding young design talents and build a platform for cross-disciplinary design exchange and exhibition.

Founded in 2021, the event has been successfully held for six sessions and established itself as one of the influential design competitions in the Asia-Pacific region.

GPY Series Pressure Transmitter

The GPY Series explosion-proof pressure transmitter is specifically designed for gas turbine pressure measurement in hazardous locations, primarily serving gas turbine pressure monitoring in the power generation sector, and is also applicable to oil & gas power equipment.

Featuring a heavy-duty stainless steel construction, the product ensures long-term trouble-free and stable operation. With a full-scale measurement accuracy of up to ±0.25% and advanced electronic circuitry, the transmitter incorporates built-in gain and zero adjustment controls on the housing. It transmits pressure signals to the main control loop in real time, supporting fuel flow regulation and turbine combustion temperature control, effectively preventing issues such as unit overtemperature trips and efficiency degradation caused by pressure fluctuations.

With multiple ranges available to meet selection requirements under different working conditions, the GPY Series complies with ATEX and SIL2-related standards and is suitable for hazardous industrial environments with stringent requirements for explosion-proof performance and reliability.
